What is a TMT?
A Toddler Mobility Trainer (TMT) is a specialized 3D-printed mobility device designed to help young children develop the strength, balance, and confidence they need to build mobility and independence.
Unlike traditional walkers or wheelchairs, TMTs are specifically designed for children ages 1-8 with conditions like cerebral palsy, developmental delays, spina bifida, or other mobility challenges. They encourage active movement while providing the support children need to explore their world safely.

How It Comes Together
Each Toddler Mobility Trainer begins as individual 3D-printed parts, along with the hardware, straps, and other components needed to bring everything together. From printing and assembly to the final adjustments and personal touches, each trainer comes together piece by piece right here at Cooley & Co.

Two Trainers. And We're Just Getting Started.
In less than a year, Cooley & Co. has had the privilege of building and delivering two Toddler Mobility Trainers through MakeGood. What starts as filament, hardware, and hours at our printers becomes something much bigger—the opportunity for a child to explore, move, and experience a little more independence.
Seeing these trainers leave our hands and begin their next adventure is a reminder of why we love making things in the first place. We're proud of the two we've completed, grateful to be part of a community using 3D printing for good, and excited for the opportunity to help build the next one.
