A Weekend in Crozet: Holiday Cheer & Community Spirit

This past weekend took us to Crozet, VA for not one, but two festive events—and both were wonderful (and chilly!).

Saturday: The Holiday Crawl

We kicked things off at the Holiday Crawl. Spirits were high, but temperatures were low—and we quickly realized we were woefully unprepared. I had packed the propane heater, but in the rush forgot the propane! Thankfully, the event had a fire pit we could gather around to thaw out, plus some delicious cider to keep us going. Despite the cold, the atmosphere was warm and lively, and we had a fantastic time.

Sunday: Carriage House Christmas Market

By Sunday, we had learned our lesson. With a bit more experience under our belt and the sun shining on our backs, we headed to the Carriage House Christmas Market. The vendors were incredible, offering everything from handmade goods to mouthwatering food (yes, we indulged in chili cheese fries—worth every bite!).

The Crozet Community

Across both events, one thing stood out: the people. The Crozet community welcomed us with open arms, and we truly enjoyed meeting each and every person who stopped by. Their kindness and enthusiasm made the weekend unforgettable.

We left with full hearts, great local finds, and a strong desire to return next year. To everyone who visited us—thank you. Your support means the world to us, and we’re so grateful for your patronage.
